Kilauea Inn

Collaborative project with Bing Chang Zhang

In collaboration with Bingchang Zhang, we developed a comprehensive logo and visual identity system for the Kilauea Inn, a 4-star hotel located in Hawaii. Situated near Volcanoes National Park, the Kilauea Inn caters to travelers seeking adventure and tranquility. Guests can explore the lush Hawaiian rainforest, visit the nearby Kīlauea volcano, and unwind in the Inn's 24-hour hot tub, all serene and welcoming.

Inspired by the island's primary landscapes—volcanoes and rainforests, the design aimed to convey a sense of adventure, nature, and relaxation. The logo features a triangle, symbolizing a home's stability and a volcano's shape. This geometric element reflects the Inn's connection to the natural environment while offering reliability and warmth.
